As the 2025 DGA Tour enters its back half, the league officially reveals its Midseason All-Tour Team — honoring four players whose performance, consistency, and statistical dominance stood out through the opening 7 events.
This year’s selections weren’t easy. With several players making compelling cases, narrowing the list down to just four required deep analysis of both standard and advanced stats. These four were ultimately chosen based on a blend of finishes, scoring efficiency, and overall impact on the tour’s competitive landscape.
Let’s meet the Midseason All-Tour Team.
Jack Spence
7 events | 1 win | 5 top-5s | 80.57 scoring avg | 12 birdies | 0 triples

Jack Spence has been the model of consistency. He leads the DGA Tour in total points and has finished inside the top 5 more than any other player (5 times in 7 events). He’s done it through steady play — not flash — posting the lowest triple bogey percentage on tour (0.00%) and ranking top-3 in par percentage.
Spence has yet to have a truly poor round this season — and that might be the most telling stat of all. No blowups, no disasters, just weekly relevance and relentless scoreboard presence. He’s still chasing a second win, but nobody has been more predictably excellent.
Kyler Messner
6 events | 2 wins (both majors) | 4 top-5s | 79.33 scoring avg | 10 birdies

Messner’s stats look like they were taken from a video game.
With two major championships already under his belt this season, he’s the only player with multiple wins — and both were earned on the biggest stages: The Eaglesticks Invitational and the Westchester Wildcard. He holds the lowest scoring average on tour (79.33), ranks second in birdie percentage, and has the fewest doubles of any full-time player.
Messner’s combination of firepower and mistake-free golf has him closing in on the unthinkable: a career Grand Slam. With one major remaining, the Turnberry Showdown, all eyes will be on Kyler.
Auston Sorg
7 events | 0 wins | 5 top-5s | 86.14 scoring avg | 7 birdies | 42 pars

Sorg doesn’t always win — but he’s always there. The quiet killer of the DGA Tour, Sorg has delivered 5 top-5 finishes and continues to put up elite results despite a volatile scorecard.
His double bogey percentage (22.22%) ranks among the league’s highest, but he offsets it with strong rounds under pressure and elite scrambling. Statistically, he’s the tour’s anomaly — a player who finds success without needing clean rounds. His game might not always look pretty on paper, but the scoreboard tells a different story.
Shea McGuire
7 events | 1 win | 4 top-5s | 88.00 scoring avg | 62 bogeys | 4 triples

Shea McGuire rounds out the All-Tour Team with a unique profile. He’s been the definition of risk-reward, bouncing between volatile scorecards and tournament-defining moments.
While his scoring average sits outside the top five, McGuire has still produced 4 top-5 finishes — including a victory at the Flag & Anthem Classic. He ranks first in total bogeys but continues to find a way into contention, proving that volatility doesn't mean irrelevance. When Shea is dialed in, few can match his ceiling — and that’s what earned him this spot.
Honorable Mentions & Near Misses
Several players were right on the edge of selection:
Trevor Monk (7 events, 3 top-5s) delivered strong finishes early but trailed slightly in scoring. His 7 birdies and 48 pars make a strong case that he's a snub from the team.
Harry Gilmore built one of the more compelling cases on tour, highlighted by two wins — tied for the most this season. His scoring average (87.67) outpaces several players above him in the standings, and his birdie rate ranks fourth overall.
Will Eyman leads the tour in triple bogey percentage (9.26%) but continues to flirt with top-5 contention.
Gianni Young has a win under his belt and could’ve easily made this list with slightly more consistency.
All four remain firmly in the playoff picture and could easily play their way into the end-of-season All-Tour honors with a strong finish.
What’s Next
With five events remaining, including another major and the season-ending Turnberry Showdown, the All-Tour Team is far from set in stone. Every shot, every round, and every point will matter.
The bar has been set. Let’s see who can raise it.
