Updated: Jul 30, 2024

The inaugural Lancaster Major marked a historic moment for the DGA Tour as it welcomed golfers to The Lancaster Golf Club for its first major event. The picturesque course, known for its challenging layout and scenic beauty, set the stage for an intense competition among some of the best players in the sport.

Kyler Messner emerged as the standout performer, showcasing his skill and composure to secure his second win of the season and his first major victory. Messner finished with a total score of +9, carding rounds of 81 and 80, earning him 80 points. This victory solidified his position as the leader in the season-long FedEx Cup Race, further cementing his status as a dominant force on the tour.

Trevor Monk and Ashton Walker, both finishing with a total score of +19, tied for second place with 70 points each. Their consistent performances kept them in contention throughout the tournament, but they ultimately fell short of Messner's impressive display.

The tournament also saw a four-way tie for fourth place, with Tyler Monk, Dylan Sharp, Auston Sorg, and Gianni Young each finishing with a score of +20 and earning 55 points. Their competitive spirit and determination were evident as they battled through the challenging conditions.
