With opening day upon us, the 2025 DGA Tour season is officially underway—and with it comes one of the most talked-about tee sheets in recent memory. The View Open, set for Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 PM, will kick off with four stacked groups taking on the home track in Lancaster, Ohio. The event also marks a major milestone for the league: the debut of its first official sponsor, Dude Wipes, bringing a fresh edge to the season's start.
3:00- Will Eyman, Shea McGuire, Tyler Monk
Leading things off will be the trio of Eyman, McGuire, and Monk. Eyman, last year’s Westchester Wildcard winner, will look to prove he’s not just a one-course wonder. McGuire has shown flashes of brilliance at The View and should benefit from the early tee time. While Tyler Monk won’t be competing this season, his appearance in the opener provides a steady presence and a reminder of what he brought to the league during his run.
3:10- Harry Gilmore, Mike McGuire, Auston Sorg
Next on the tee is the trio of Gilmore, McGuire, and Sorg—who are likely to be among the highest groups on the course, both in elevation and in spirit. These three always bring a laid-back, mellow energy to their rounds, and while they might look relaxed, they’re more than capable of going low—unless their swing thoughts get clouded, so to speak. Gilmore, naturally, is expected to remain barefoot for the full 18, because golf shoes are clearly too mainstream.
3:20- Seth Paszke, Jack Spence, Gianni Young
This group brings a mix of intrigue and consistency. Paszke returns to the tee box as a lefty, having made the rare mid-season switch last year. The big question: will he commit to one side of the ball for the full campaign? Spence, the league’s much-anticipated rookie, enters the DGA Tour with expectations sky-high and will be eager to live up to the buzz. Young, meanwhile, remains one of the steadiest players in the field, quietly doing all the right things.
3:30- Jack Bosser, Kyler Messner, Trevor Monk, Dylan Sharp
The anchor group brings firepower—and Dylan Sharp. Bosser is a top contender with unmatched course knowledge. Messner won this event last year with a cool +12 and is aiming for a repeat. Trevor Monk, the reigning Tour Champion, kicks off his title defense looking sharp. And then there’s Dylan. Let’s just say he’s not here for his ball-striking. But he’s here, and he’s smiling, and he’s got snacks. Sometimes that’s enough.
With the groups officially announced and the sun ready to shine down on The View, the season is set to open with high expectations, returning rivalries, and new storylines waiting to unfold.
One sponsor. One tee sheet. One mission: to chase the cup.
Let the season begin.
