Polos On. Pressure On. The Second Half of the DGA Tour Season Begins.

The DGA Tour enters the back half of the 2025 season with fresh threads, renewed energy, and a league-defining event on tap. The Flag & Anthem Classic at Crystal Springs Golf Course marks not just another stop on the schedule — it signals a new era for the league.

Every player will tee it up this weekend wearing a custom Flag & Anthem polo, courtesy of the league’s newest sponsor. The reaction from the league has been instant and unanimous: these polos are some of the nicest pieces of golf apparel the players have ever owned. The quality, the fit, the look — every player on tour couldn’t stop raving about it. This partnership with Flag & Anthem is everything the league could ask for — premium gear from a brand that gets it. Their support of the DGA Tour means the world to the players and is a perfect reflection of what makes this league special.

The partnership with Flag & Anthem isn't just about looking good- it's a testament to a brand that's built on quality, style, and confidence. The DGA Tour is proud to wear the name of a company that stands for everything we value on and off the course.

The Midseason Pressure Cooker — Standings, Surges, and the Playoff Push

Six events down. Six to go.

At the top of the leaderboard, Jack Spence holds a commanding but not insurmountable lead. His 343 points, bolstered by five Top-5 finishes in six events, make him the face of consistency on tour. But with majors still on the horizon and a tightly packed field behind him, the title race is far from over.

Kyler Messner, fresh off his return from a back injury, lurks in second place with 278 points — a player capable of flipping the standings at any moment. If his ball-striking sharpens, he’s a threat to run the table.

But perhaps the fiercest battle is happening in the heart of the standings. Just 91 points separate 5th place (Will Eyman) from 10th place (Dylan Sharp). For players like Trevor Monk, Auston Sorg, Shea McGuire, and Harry Gilmore, this is gut-check time. The top half of the standings is playoff territory — and it’s getting crowded.

Every point matters now.

Crystal Springs: The Ultimate Ball Striker’s Test

This isn’t a course you can fake it on.

Crystal Springs Golf Course will demand precision off the tee, soft hands around the greens, and mental toughness when things go sideways. Tight fairways, deceptive lies, and tricky green complexes make this track a perfect filter for the DGA Tour’s biggest weaknesses: double bogeys and triple+ blowups.

Look at the numbers:

  • Mike McGuire’s 24.07% double bogey rate and Shea McGuire’s league-high 51.85% bogey rate haven’t stopped them from contending — both have shown they can strike the ball well enough to compete if they clean up mistakes around the green.

  • Trevor Monk’s five double bogeys at The Masters proved how quickly rounds can unravel, but his power game and ability to pile up pars (39 on the season) make him dangerous if he can tighten up on the approach shots.

  • Gianni Young has battled through 36 bogeys this season but also showed at The Masters how controlling the big mistakes can put him in position to win. If his short game holds up, he’s always a threat.

  • Ryan Arter’s 37.04% bogey rate hasn’t stopped him from flashing upside in limited action — and with his competitive fire, a clean round could have him in the mix at Crystal Springs.

  • Will Eyman ranks 5th among bogeys on tour (44), but also ranks among the most clutch, as seen by his 30-foot birdie at The Masters. If he stays patient, he’s got the game to be right there on Sunday.

  • Even Auston Sorg, known for grinding out tough rounds, can contend if he avoids the big numbers. His ability to stay composed under pressure gives him a shot anytime the course demands discipline.

And while Kyler Messner’s elite double bogey avoidance (3.33%) sets him up perfectly for this course, he’s far from the only player with a game fit for Crystal Springs. This layout rewards steady nerves, smart play, and a few timely putts — a recipe several players in this field have proven capable of delivering.

Crystal Springs won’t reward bombers or gamblers. It’ll reward those who survive the bad breaks, cash in on the birdie looks, and — maybe most importantly — avoid disaster.

The Heart of the League — Brotherhood, Banter, and a Tour Built on Culture

Beyond the standings, stats, and storylines, the Flag & Anthem Classic stands as a celebration of what the DGA Tour has become.

A league built on banter and brotherhood, forged by friendly rivalries and unforgettable moments. Whether it’s Shea McGuire’s window-shattering tee shot, Eyman’s 30-foot dagger at The Masters, or Harry Gilmore’s meme-worthy solo round antics, the DGA Tour has always thrived on the stories that make it more than just a competition.

Now, with partnerships like Flag & Anthem backing the brand, the league has never felt more united — or more official.

This event isn’t just about who shoots the low round. It’s about showing up in the same polo, battling for the same prize, and representing a league that’s bigger than any one player.

The Tour Rolls On

The Flag & Anthem Classic isn’t just another stop — it’s a turning point. With the standings tightening, rivalries heating up, and every player chasing that signature moment, Crystal Springs is primed to deliver a shake-up the league won’t forget.

The polos are on. The pressure is mounting. And the back half of the season starts now.

Who’s ready to wear the logo — and back it up on the course?
